Amalfi Coast, Italy... 6th September, 1996.

...On every street corner in Italy it seems, there are covieniently located two old men drinking coffee.  A few "bonjourno's", and they will jump up immediately to look at your map and wave you on. One old man in Vitri sent us up a one way street off of the central square, only to be there waiting in another part of the same square for us to emerge, after a maze of one way streets, a couple of minutes later.  Bright smiles, a waving cane and more directions, off again... ...all very amusing I'm sure.
