Missteps

You are quick to believe the worst behind my motivations,
believing even that I like this drama,
…I don’t.

As you feel lost in the crossroads so do I,
and have for the longest time now it would seem,
turning between hope,
...and shame, and love, and hurt.

My mind is not made for this,
it sees life too seriously,
and missteps …often,
I have been unable to choose a path,
to yours, to mine, to our demise.

When I feel, I feel deeply,
and seriously,
your day to day is not my natural,
but I am trying now,
it is hard.

Still I wish for it (as you know), and am continuing now with my heart,
…and I will continue until the answer is no,
and if the answer is no,
then I will hurt,

…but that will be ok.

Inspiration: Leaving a decision in anothers hands after having proven
incapable of making it myself.
