Not Able to Let Go

It is inevitable, I will get hurt.

Not through conscious doing from others, but through how I love. For I am not one to give up love I think, I persevere, I hold on, and then I cling, …cling on until long after it has run its time until finally, finally it gets taken away from me.

…and

…and I am hurt.

Maybe this will not be, but I feel it will,

…and it scares me.
