I write in diaries a lot. It helps me arrange thoughts and rationalise the world around me. Once it is down on paper it ceases to expand or contract and becomes what it is.

It is also a creative thing. I enjoy the thinking, pondering, postulating. Rarely do I solve anything but I do feel things better. These are short extracts from diaries, generally later things.

They are generally from later diaries, kids and after kids, I have some earlier ectracts from diaries (travel diaries) form earlier also in Echoes & Meditations.
